Stop & ride track

Brakes, suspension and tyres — quiet rides, confident stops.

Of all the visits we get, this is the one where photography matters most. Pad thickness next to a coin, disc lip measured with a caliper, bushing tear under torchlight — you should not have to take our word for it.

What we tackle in this track.

Brakes, suspension and tyres share a common thread — they are the parts of the car that decide whether emergency moments turn out well. We take that seriously, with calibrated tools, consistent torque values and parts that match or beat factory spec.

  • Brake pad and disc replacement, including ceramic upgrades
  • Brake fluid flush every 24 months or 40,000 km
  • Shock absorber replacement and ride-height verification
  • Suspension bushing, ball joint and tie-rod end refresh
  • Four-wheel laser alignment with a printed before/after report
  • Tyre fitting, balancing and rotation; nitrogen on request

Signs it is time to come in

If any of these sound familiar, do not wait.

Squeal at low speed

Often the wear-indicator on the inner pad. Easy to fix early; expensive to ignore until it cuts the disc.

Vibration through the steering wheel under braking

Usually warped front discs. Resurfacing or replacement, depending on remaining thickness.

Knock or thump on speed bumps

Tired strut top mounts, dead shock absorbers or worn anti-roll bar links. Visible on the lift.

Steering wheel sits crooked

A four-wheel alignment with a print-out fixes it and protects the inside edge of your tyres.

Tyre wear on one side only

Toe or camber out of spec, or a worn lower arm bushing. We measure before quoting parts.

Pulling left or right under braking

Sticky brake caliper, contaminated pad or seized slider pin. Caliper rebuild beats replacement most of the time.

Bring the car. We will measure first, quote second.

Brake and suspension parts are easy to over-quote. We measure pad thickness, disc thickness and bushing play before suggesting anything — and we share the photos.
