Who is responsible
This website at zumofy.pro is operated by Zumofy Auto Care Sdn Bhd ("Zumofy", "we", "us"), business registration 202401045821 (1582044-K). Our workshop sits at No. 24, Jalan Kemajuan 1/3, Taman Tun Hassan, 47600 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.
What we collect
The information we hold is the information you give us, plus a small amount of technical data your browser sends automatically. In practice, that means:
- Enquiry details you type into our contact form: name, phone or WhatsApp number, email, your car details and the message you write.
- Workshop records created during a visit: vehicle plate, service history, parts fitted, mileage at visit, photographs taken during inspection.
- Technical data automatically sent by your browser: IP address, approximate region, device type, the pages you viewed and the time you spent on them.
- Cookies set by our site or by services we use to understand traffic. The cookie policy explains the specifics.
Why we use it
The short version: to reply to you, to fix your car well, and to keep the lights on at the workshop.
- To respond to enquiries you send us through the contact form, by email or by phone.
- To prepare and send written quotations and invoices for service work.
- To maintain a service history under your plate number so we can reference past work.
- To meet legal obligations such as tax records and regulator requests.
- To improve the website by understanding which pages people read and where they drop off.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with third parties when we have a clear reason to:
- Parts suppliers when ordering specific replacement components for your vehicle.
- Specialist sub-contractors for work we do not do in-house — for example, deep machine work or a battery cell-level inspection.
- Authorities when required by Malaysian law, such as a court order or tax audit.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the data that powers this website.
How long we keep it
Enquiries from the contact form that do not turn into a booking are deleted after 12 months. Service records associated with a paying visit are kept for seven years to satisfy local tax record requirements. Marketing communications, if you opted into them, are kept until you ask us to stop.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia) you can ask us to:
- Show you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Delete information we no longer need to keep for legal reasons.
- Stop using your information for marketing communications.
Send any of these requests to [email protected] with the subject "PDPA request". We aim to reply within fourteen working days.
Security
The website runs over HTTPS. Form submissions are protected by a session-bound token to reduce automated abuse. Workshop records are stored in a system kept current with vendor security updates. No system is completely safe from determined attack, but we treat your information with the same care we treat your car.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, post a short notice on the home page for at least thirty days.
